Automatic control system "ACS-TP" with personal computer (PC)

Automatic process control system (APCS) using a personal computer (PC) is an advanced system that provides automation of technological processes through computer technology, software, and modern sensing and control devices. It enables control, monitoring, and management of various production processes, ensuring high efficiency, accuracy, and safety.

Main components of APCS with PC:

Component Description
Personal computer (PC) The central element of the system, on which the software for process control and monitoring operates.
Software Specialized software for process control, data analysis, and report generation.
Programmable logic controllers (PLC) Controllers for processing input and output signals, executing commands, and controlling parameters.
Sensors and detectors Devices for collecting information about process parameters (temperature, pressure, level, flow, etc.).
Actuators and drives Mechanisms for executing commands, such as valves, pumping units, conveyors, electric motors.
Communication system Network for data transmission between PC, controllers, sensors, and other devices (Ethernet, Modbus, CAN, Profibus, etc.).
User interface Visual interface for operator interaction with the system on the PC monitor (graphic panels, charts, tables).
Reporting and notification system Automatic messages (via e-mail, SMS) about emergency situations or the need for maintenance.

Principle of operation of APCS with PC:

  1. Data collection โ€“ sensors installed at various stages of the technological process continuously transmit information about parameters (temperature, pressure, level, flow, etc.) to the PC.

  2. Data processing and analysis โ€“ PC software processes the received information, compares it with standards and parameters set by the user.

  3. Process control โ€“ based on the received data, the system can automatically adjust parameters (for example, turn equipment on or off, regulate temperature or pressure).

  4. User interface โ€“ the operator interacts with the system through a convenient interface on the PC monitor, where all necessary data, graphs, and charts for process monitoring are displayed.

  5. Notifications and reporting โ€“ the system automatically generates reports on the process status and sends notifications in case of emergency situations or the need for operator intervention.
