The company KARMEL joined an important online meeting between representatives of the Khmelnytskyi region and the industrial park Markham Vale (Derbyshire County, United Kingdom). The event took place with the participation of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration and was dedicated to exploring directions for future cooperation in the development of industrial parks, attracting investments, and supporting industrial business.
The Ukrainian side was represented by the Deputy Head of the Khmelnytskyi RMA Volodymyr Yuriev, specialists from the Department of Economic Development, the Regional Development Agency of the Khmelnytskyi region, heads of regional industrial parks, as well as the manufacturing company KARMEL, which is actively working on entering international markets.
From the British side, key experts in the development of industrial zones and investments joined the discussion, including representatives of the Derbyshire County Council and the management of Markham Vale.
Continuation of the dialogue after the visit to Markham Vale
The online meeting was a logical continuation of the cooperation initiated during the visit of the delegation from Khmelnytskyi to the Markham Vale industrial park in December 2025 in Chesterfield. At that time, representatives of the region and business, including KARMEL, were able to see firsthand the scale of the British project, its effective management model, and the successful interaction between the state and the private sector.

Following the negotiations, the parties confirmed their readiness to:

work out joint educational and training programs,

consider the possibility of further familiarization visits.
